Private Chat Installation

Actually, the installation is really easy, just double-click the .msi file name after downloading it. There are some things I want you to know, so there won't be any surprises to you when it's installed.

Private Chat will install to Program Files\RixGroup\PrivateChat! unless you re-direct it to another location. It will associate file extension .pc2 with saved Private Chat sessions.

The first time Private Chat is used, it will make entries in the registry under a RixGroup key. There it will store printer preferences, window positions, and window sizes. Private Chat does not have any ability to "remember" your user names, passwords, or connection information.

The first time you use Private Chat to receive a file, a directory tree under My Documents will be created. It will be drive:\Documents and Settings\"Your User name"\My Documents\PChat\Received\"User Name You Received The File From" if you have multiple users on your machine. A separate folder will be created for each user from whom you receive a file. Some people won't like this, but I had to keep it simple for this version.
